Introducing Primergy's 2025 Interns!

Meet Our 2025 Intern Class

Isobel Bonetti – Human Resources Intern

Isobel is currently a student at Northeastern University, majoring in Sociology and minoring in Cultural Anthropology and Psychology. Drawn to the renewable energy space by her love for the outdoors and her desire to expand knowledge of the industry, Isobel is eager to gain hands-on experience in the field. Isobel found her visit to Gemini especially fascinating, where she learned about the process of converting solar energy through substations. Outside of work, Isobel enjoys hiking, running, cooking, watching live music, and exploring the world.

Jackson Kinney – Development Intern

A recent graduate from Appalachian State University with a master’s degree in Renewable Energy Technology, Jackson is passionate about making an impact on the environment and people’s lives. Jackson values solar development for the innovation and creativity the industry demands and hopes to build project management skills to complement his technical background. Jackson has been especially intrigued by the complexities of project siting, which must take into consideration environmental, community, and commercial factors. A happy camper, Jackson is a huge fan of the outdoors, whether it is traveling, going to concerts, or staying active.

Nate Johnson – Commercial Strategy Intern

With a strong foundation in Economics and Environmental Studies as a student at Vassar College, Nate is excited by the renewable energy industry’s innovation and its impact. Nate is looking forward to developing his skills in financial modelling. One of the most interesting takeaways for Nate so far has been learning about the different components of developing and financing renewable energy projects and the difficulty in getting them off the ground. In his free time, Nate loves traveling, hanging out with friends, and participating in sports.

Reewa Monie – Market Strategy Intern

Reewa is studying Environmental Economics and Sustainable Design at the University of California, Berkeley. Her interest in the industry was sparked by a college course that revealed how renewable energy is systematically essential to climate change mitigation. Reewa is excited to work on impactful solutions and hopes to strengthen her ability to analyze market signals and competitive landscapes. The most surprising thing Reewa has learned at Primergy is how central law, policy, and environmental regulations are to every stage of project development. Reewa spends her free time exploring new places in the city, trying out different coffee shops, hiking, and catching sunsets at the beach.

Omar Al-farqani – Transmission Intern

Omar is studying Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electrical Power and Energy Systems at Arizona State University. Growing up in a sunny country, Omar has always appreciated solar energy and its potential for sustainable solutions. At Primergy, Omar is eager to deepen his skills in power system analysis and renewable energy integration. He is particularly interested in how transmission planning, permitting, land use, and environmental assessments shape project siting. When he is not immersed in work, Omar enjoys staying active, whether it is going for a hike, playing soccer, or working out.

Sai Sawant – Financial Planning and Analysis Intern

A recent Finance major graduate from the University of California Riverside, Sai chose the renewable industry field for its dynamic growth and meaningful impact. Through this internship, Sai hopes to strengthen communication and collaboration skills in a professional setting while sharpening critical thinking for problem solving. Sai was pleasantly surprised by how Primergy’s remote-first culture fosters a strong sense of collaboration despite the distance. Sai’s hobbies include jogging, discovering great food, and catching up with friends and family.

Tamira Le – Policy & Communications Intern

Tamira is a College of Social Studies and Environmental Studies major at Wesleyan University. Building upon her environmental advocacy work, Tamira sees the renewable industry as a fast-growing space with the power to address climate change and transform communities. Tamira is excited to sharpen her skills in translating complex energy policy topics into clear messages for diverse stakeholders. She is especially impressed by Primergy’s strategic vision and its ability to adapt to changing market and political conditions. In her free time, Tamira loves travelling, going to concerts, and watching thriller movies.
